With a long pre-season, including many skills practices with Assistant Coach Paul Hill, Lee Joffe’s 4th-grade boys came out strong against Byram-A in their inaugural game. It was over early as Edgemont’s wide array of offensive weapons was too much for the Bobcats. Rohan Rao scored the team’s first-ever basket, while PG Lucas Kumar put the game out of reach in the 3rd-quarter with consecutive buckets and finished with 12. The Ruane brothers controlled the boards and the team moved the ball beautifully on offense while helping each other defensively.
