Our coaches run skills clinics, coach rec and travel teams, and train Edgemont players on a 1-on-1 or small-group basis.
BRIAN RILEY joined Edgemont Hoops for the 2021-22 season with significant experience from AAU and at the HS level. In 2025-26, he led his 6th grade team to the Tri-County “A” division championship. Coach Brian has been appointed as the head of the boys travel program and will be coaching a number of teams for the 2026-27 season. He will also continue with our Saturday morning clinics for 1st and 2nd grades.
ELISSA MISURACA joined Edgemont Hoops in 2023. She will coach multiple girls travel teams for the 2026-27 season and also runs our off-season girls clinics. Elissa has been appointed as the head of the girls travel program.
DAVID SCAGNELLI is an Edgemont resident, phys ed teacher in the Scarsdale schools, and former HS coach with over 20 years of coaching experience. Dave joined the Edgemont Hoops staff in 2015 and has been an active coach in our travel, rec, and clinic programs.
JOE DIMAIO is a former teacher, principal, and HS basketball coach. Since 2021, Joe has served as one of our lead rec program coaches as well as an assistant travel coach in our girls program. He will coach throughout our rec program for the 2025-26 season and assist with our travel program from time-to-time.
RYAN LOBBAN joined Edgemont Hoops in 2021 with a focus on skill development. He trains our travel players; co-coaches our 1B and 2B clinics; and will coach in our boys travel program for the 2026-27 season. Ryan also is the lead coach of our Ladies Night Hoops program.
JOSH LIKENS is an experienced AAU coach who joined Edgemont Hoops for the 2021-22 season. He has coached travel and rec teams, run clinics, and run skills workouts.
ROB SAUERHAFT is an Edgemont resident and experienced travel and AAU coach. He specializes in 1-on-1 and small group training with an emphasis on shooting mechanics and basic fundamentals. Rob has coached will coach our 7B 2025-26 travel team as well as multiple rec teams and clinics.
SILVIO DISALVATORE joined Edgemont Hoops in 2021. As the Head Coach of the Tuckahoe varsity girls team; founder and head of the highly successful NY LOB AAU program; and CEO of the Leewood Men’s Basketball League, Sil is a fixture in Westchester hoops. He led our 2023-24 8B squad to an historic undefeated season and Class A TCBL championship. Sil is on hiatus from Edgemont Hoops but will remain an advisor to the program.
GREG SCHNEIDER is a teacher at Seely Place ES and the EHS boys assistant varsity basketball coach. Greg was the head coach of our Tri-County Class B champion 8G 2023-24 travel team and will continue to assist Edgemont Hoops from time-to-time.
BRIAN DAVIS is a teacher in the Edgemont schools and an experienced youth basketball coach. Since joining our staff in 2017, he has coached travel and rec in various capacities, including head and assistant coach and skills trainer. Brian will continue to assist Edgemont Hoops.
