Who will run the sessions? They will be run by David Scagnelli, the head of the Edgemont Hoops girls travel program. He will have one or more assistants at most practices.

How much does travel basketball cost? The season fee is TBD as it depends on the total number of events, but typically it runs around $650.

When will practices be held? See below.

Does my daughter need to attend all three tryouts? No. Only one is required, but we recommend attending at least two.

How many kids will make the team? We are anticipating a roster size of approximately 12 players.

When are travel games? Most games are on Friday nights, Saturday afternoons, or Sunday afternoons, with an occasional weeknight game. In all likelihood, league play will begin in mid-December.

In what travel league will the girls play? Edgemont Hoops participates in the Tri-County Basketball League (TCBL), which is planning to operate (with a delayed start) for the 2021-22 season.

What are the COVID protocols? Players and coaches will be required to wear masks, and all coaches are vaccinated. No parents are allowed in the gym during practices. Game protocols are TBD.

Will there be an Edgemont Recreation season? It sounds like rec is happening and will start after Thanksgiving. To stay up-to-date, be sure to check Edgemont Families on Facebook. Please note: If there is a rec season, travel and rec schedules will be coordinated to avoid conflicts. We strongly recommend that travel players also play rec.
